| Clinical Experiment Prove Viagra A Suitable Cure For Jet Lag
An experiment conducted at the National University of Quilmes in Buenos Aires makes it apparent that the anti-impotency drug Viagra manufactured by Pfizer is a successful cure of jet lag, a disorder that leads to insomnia, concentration problems and sleepiness. Generally, people become victims to jet lag when they move across different time zones and their circadian cycle is disturbed.
In the experiment conducted at the National University of Quilmes in Buenos Aires , initially, the leading researcher Diego Golombek and his companions administered the adult hamsters with the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra as well as placebo at night and forcefully woke them up by using bright lights. Soon after it became evident that the hamsters administered with Viagra had convalesced from jet lag 50% more quickly in comparison to those administered with placebo. Surprisingly, as a result of Viagra administration to the hamsters, the animals started to run spontaneously just after waking up without being affected by sleep disturbance.
The successful results shown by Viagra in treating jet lag in hamsters have provided the investigators with plenty of scope to hope that the drug would also trigger off positive results in human beings.
In the Viagra experiment on hamsters, the researchers also came to know that Viagra showed effective results in treating jet lag in hamsters only when the medicine was applied in the light-dark cycle synonymous to an east-bound flight.
