Research Predicts Viagra May Affect Men Adversely By Reducing Fertility
Date: 6th March 2008
An experiment carried out by David Glenn, a gynaecologist with Queen's University Belfast, has astonishingly revealed that the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra is capable of adversely affecting sperms` ability to enter egg for fertilization and thus can reduce a man's chances of fathering children.
In the Viagra experimentation, when researcher David Glenn mixed sperm with weak Viagra solutions and compared them to standard sperm solutions he found out that the anti-impotency medication Viagra destroyed the sperms` ability to enter the egg in order to initiate fertilization alongside activating the sperms. With Viagra usage yielding such disastrous results, Dr Glenn further emphasized the need to caution youngsters against using Viagra recreationally.
Altogether as soon as the study results were out, it soon became clear that the fertility clinics using the medication Viagra to assist in sperm production are likely to play a suitable role in making it difficult for couples to conceive who are already afflicted with fertility problems.
