Study Reveals Viagra Doesn't Yield Side-Effects On Vision
Date: 18th May 2009
A specific experiment conducted on 244 healthy men in the age group 30 and 65 makes it apparent that Viagra, the drug meant for erectile dysfunction as well as the anti-impotence drug Cialis don't adversely affect vision. Altogether, sources reveal that some of the men enrolled for experimentation were in the grip of mild erectile dysfunction and as the experiment came to a close, it became evident that men administering 5 milligrams of tadalafil (Cialis) or 50 milligrams sildenafil (Viagra) for a period of six months did not suffer from collective damage or effect of clinical significance.
In the course of the experiment, 77 men were administered 50 milligrams of Viagra, 85 men were given 5 milligrams of Cialis on a daily basis, 82 men were offered placebo and it became evident that from amongst the men who took part in the experiment and eye examination, there was no striking difference in vision between the men administering the anti-impotence medicines and the placebo groups.
The details related to the experiment are reportedly published in the Archives of Ophthalmology.
