| Viagra Proves Beneficial For The Heart
Viagra, the erectile dysfunction medicine has been proved effective in reducing the drastic increase in heart rate as well as in scaling down hormonal pressure in the heart.
In a recently conducted experiment, David Kass, M.D., and his team from Johns Hopkins selected 35 patients free from any kind of heart diseases and administered them with two dobutamine injections over a two hour period. Dobutamine is a medicine responsible for the increase in heart rate and the pumping strenght of the heart. Thereafter they were administered with Viagra or placebo dosages and after sometime it was observed that those who took Viagra were able to reduce their heart rate induced by the medicine dobutamine.
David Kass, the doctor who headed the experiement further elaborated that Viagra and drugs of its kind act as a break for the heart. In continuation, he mentioned that Viagra doesn`t work under normal circumstances but if stress is present the drug effectively works against hormonal stress in the heart.
