| Research Shows Viagra Effects In Improving Urinary Tract Symptoms In Erectile Dysfunction Afflicted Men
In a 12-week, double-blind, placebo (fake pill)-controlled experiment conducted by Kevin V. McVary, professor of urology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and his associates on men ageing 45 years and more, having erectile dysfunction as well as prostate and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), it was found that Viagra effectively treats LUTS.
LUTS is a specific disorder that prevents the passage of blood through the victim's urethra and on administering Viagra to people having erectile dysfunction as well as LUTS associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) it became evident that the patients who had taken the doses of Viagra at bedtime or 30 minutes to one hour before indulging in sexual intercourse were significantly relieved from the grip of erectile dysfunction as well as from the irritative and obstructive symptoms of BPH.
The conclusions of the experiment also indicated that the erectile dysfunction afflicted men had improved significantly in self-esteem and quality of life after taking the doses of Viagra.
The results derived from Viagra experiments on the patients were presented by Kevin V. McVary at a summit of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America which was organized on November 21 in New York .
