| Police Seizes Counterfeit Viagra Worth P35m

After getting hold of a tip off the drug stores in places such as Sta. Cruz, and Binondo and Manila which are selling fake Viagra, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the National police conducts a massive crackdown and confiscated counterfeit Viagra worth P35m.
According to Melvin Montante, the police officer who masterminded the operation, Manila Regional Trial Court branch issued warrants against the stores after intelligence reports confirming the sale of Chinese Viagra in them and in due accordance with the instructions of the court, the police raided the places and recovered a massive quantity of fake Viagra.
In the seizure, 220 boxes of imitation Viagra and another 16,000 viagra boxes were confiscated from the Fareast Chinese Drug Store, Chua Kim Ton, Central Chinese Drug Store and other drug outlets.
