| Russian Handcuffed For Trading Viagra and Other Drugs Illegitimately Through Postal Route

Recently, parcels containing Viagra and other drugs like charas and other narcotics were confiscated by the custom officials from the Foreign Post Office (FPO) in New Delhi and the owner of the parcels, a Russian national was arrested.
The Russian, who has been residing in India during the past three months, was held up in police custody under the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act on the charge of sending drugs illegally to his Russian contacts.
The additional commissioner of customs in India , Neeraj Kansal who has been working in close association with the US Drug Enforcement Agency on illegal drug business operating through FPOs, states that during the past three months, 1000 parcels containing illegal drugs were confiscated in New Delhi.
