| Viagra Sells Boost Up In Afghanistan
Date: January 2, 2007
Since the Taliban left Afghanistan more than five years ago, the importation of Viagra to the country has increased drastically leading to a mighty struggle between conservatism and the new-found freedom brought in by the slow and steady influence of western culture.
The erectile dysfunction drug Viagra is now sold throughout Afghanistan, especially in Bagram bazaar which is situated less than 200 yards from the largest coalition base in the war-torn country. In this specific market, most of the shops store Viagra along with a whole range of sexual sprays containing lignocaine which is an unaesthetic that helps in boosting sexual performance.
Viagra pills piled up in the Afghanistan market after workers from countries like India and Turkey arrived at the base and started looking for the erectile dysfunction drug. The demand for Viagra was felt which further led to the mushrooming of Viagra sales in the market.
It's been found that though young men in Kabul are very eager to try Viagra they are not aware that Viagra is used for impotency and think that the drug is used for sex only. Prescriptions for the anti-impotency drugs are not required in Afghanistan and the side-effects of the medicines are usually not cared for.
