| Fake Viagra to Raise Funds for Hizbullah Terrorists

9 smugglers were accused of smuggling bootlegged cigarettes, fake Viagra and counterfeit tax stamps, arrested on Wednesday. The group is a part of Dearborn based smuggling operation, which sends a cut of their illicit profits to Hizbullah terrorist group. According to the accusation, the $20-million smuggling ring has a network for smuggling cigarettes to counterfeiting various state cigarette tax stamps and smuggling phony Viagra tablets, Zigzag cigarette papers and stolen toilet paper and baby formula.
The operation was started by the federal agents (FBA) in the early morning on Wednesday, while Karim Hassan Nasser crossed the border from his home in Windsor into the United States. Their network is extended through Lebanon, China, Brazil and Paraguay. Arrested agents of the Joint Terrorism Task Force were, Nasser, 37, of Windsor; Fadi Mohamad-Musbah Hammoud, 33, of Dearborn; Majid Mohamad Hammoud, 39, of Dearborn Heights; Jihad Hammoud, 47, of Dearborn; Youssef Aoun Bakri, 36, of Dearborn Heights; Ali Najib Berjaoui, 39, of Dearborn; Mohammed Fawzi Zeidan, 41, of Canton; Imad Majed Hamadeh, 51, of Dearborn Heights, and Adel Isak, 37, of Sterling Heights. Authorities said that Theodore Schenk, 73, of Miami Beach, Fla. , who is accused of supplying the fake Viagra to the ring, is expected to surrender voluntarily after the allegation.
According to authorities, other suspects including Imad Mohamad-Musbah Hammoun, formerly of Dearborn, and Hassan Ali Al-Mosawi, who are closely tied with Hizbullah leaders, remain at large in Lebanon and they are beyond reach because Lebanon has no extradition treaty with the United States.
