Viagra has Proved a Boon for the Endangered Species
Date: October 13, 2005
Many endangered species which could well become extinct in the quest of getting treatment for the problem of erectile dysfunction from the body parts of the animals have come to a halt with the introduction of Viagra, says a survey.
From olden times men have relied on traditional remedies like potions made from seals’ penises, reindeer antler velvet. This leads to undue killing of these animals and sooner or later these kinds of hunting would lead to the extinction of these species.
Ever since Viagra was launched, survey shows, that these killings if not stopped, have at least gone down drastically, raising a hope in the hearts of the environmentalists that there would be no more killing of these animals as long as Viagra is there.
A survey has shown that Chinese men who earlier used to depend on the traditional medicines have found the remedy in the much famous anti-impotence oral pill-Viagra. This trend was observed only for erectile dysfunction and traditional remedies were still favored for other conditions like arthritis, indigestion and gout.
