Viagra and Testosterone Combination Spices Your Sex Life
Date: January 5, 2006
A study conducted at a New York hospital under the Columbia University Medical Center revealed that the supplemental use of Androgel and testosterone can give a satisfactory sexual experience, infact an over all satisfactory sex to men.
"Our data support the potential benefits of a combination therapy with testosterone gel for men with erectile dysfunction and low testosterone who find sildenafil by itself ineffective. When assessing erectile dysfunction, doctors and patients should consider using a simple blood test to determine if low testosterone is a contributing factor. If the root cause is low testosterone, sildenafil alone won't fix the problem," said Dr. Ridwan Shabsigh, lead author of the study.
The studies done during the research suggests that nitric oxide is dependent on testosterone for its proper functioning. This may explain that why Viagra may not work in some men. This is why testosterone replacement therapy is needed for such men whose condition does not improve even with medicines like Viagra containing sildenafil citrate.
