Viagra Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control centre or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe dizziness, fainting or prolonged erection. Precautions
- No medicine is for everyone. Only a physician after talking to you can prescribe Viagra and its required dosages to you.
- If you use nitrate drugs, often used to control angina pain, don't take Viagra. The combination of nitrate drugs combined with Viagra can cause your blood pressure to drop to an unsafe level or to such a level which can prove extremely fatal to your life.
- Be sure to ask your physician if your heart is healthy enough for sex activity.
- If you are older than 65 years or have serious liver or kidney problems your doctor may recommend a 25mg of Viagra. If you are taking protease inhibitors, such as for the treatment of HIV, your doctor may recommend a 25mg dose and may limit you to a maximum single dose of 25mg of Viagra in a 48 hr period.
- Viagra confers no resistance to AIDS or other sexually transmitted disease.
- Before taking Viagra people are advised to have a thorough medical history and physical examination by a physician, to diagnose impotence, determine underlying causes and identify appropriate treatment.
- Limit your intake of alcohol otherwise it may augment the side effects of Viagra.
- Since this drug may cause dizziness, caution is advised when performing tasks requiring alertness. (E.g. driving).
